Explorb
A story-telling globe
Designed using Unity's AR engine, Explorb combines a physical globe with conductive sensors for touch-enabling with a detachable tablet for an AR-enabled educational game.
Tactile and visually stimulating learning experiences provided in the form of a physical globe provide young learners with a strong foundation of learning by fostering curiosity, providing global context, and increasing engagement.
Our MVP exemplifies the potential of this tool with a history-themed example module, taking users to an ancient Egyptian ship within their own classroom, living room or library.
My primary responsibility for this project was to manage the Unity development.
